Platform Policy and Guidelines

The people who minister on our platform and in leadership or public roles are the most visible representatives of our fellowship and should mirror the spirit and standards we teach. Ministry is not the performance of an hour; it is the example of a godly lifestyle. Our character and devotion to God must be the foundation of what we project publicly.

Should you choose not to meet these minimum requirements, integrity and ethics would require that you not participate in public ministry at national meetings.

Dress Code for Men

• Long sleeve shirts and a tie are to be worn. A coat is recommended. (sleeves should be to the elbow.)
• No tight fitting trousers or pants that leave the leg exposed.
• Modest necklines
• No long hair below the collar or reaching over the ears or down in the eyes or outlandish styles are acceptable.
• No facial hair for members of Deaf Ministry choir
• No jewelry of any kind allowed except wedding ring and watch.

Dress Code for Ladies

• Sleeves to the elbows. You are to be modest even when raising your hands.
• Modest necklines, front and back,
• Hem length is to be below the knees, both while standing and sitting down.
• Splits in the skirts must end below the knee. Wrap-around skirts, should follow this same principle.
• Slacks and pants are not acceptable. Gauchos, culottes, tights or any other garment that divides the legs may not be worn as an outer garment.
• Don’t wear anything real tight to your body. No see through clothes.
• Hair must be worn in a neat fashion. Wear hair up if you need to.
• No jewelry of any kind except engagement and/or wedding ring and watch.
• No make-up, no colored fingernails or toenails.

Modest apparel draws attention to the countenance. Let your countenance testify to the joy of the Lord in your heart!

You were invited to “Meet Me In St Louis” for an historical Multicultural Summit, and you came. Three hundred and fifty registered online for the day sessions and many more signed up at the door. You came to catch a glimpse of the global harvest here in North America.

We were blessed and challenged by the anointed preaching of Bro David Bernard, General Superintendent of UPCI. Bro Edwin Forkpa, Bro Jesse Forteleza, Bro Elias Limones, and Bro Bruce Howell, Director of Foreign Missions. Approximately 800 attended the night services.

There were 25 excellent presenters, teaching on many informative subjects about culture, demographics and evangelism. Bro Trent Sheerin ministered to the children.

The “Parade of Delegates” brought rousing applause as each ministry marched in. There were 35-40 language and culture groups represented.

Bro Bernard preaching in Korean, Bro Suh translating into English and Bro Vitanza translating into Spanish, Sis Billingsley sitting, signing for the Deaf. 4 different languages!

Thank you for coming and grasping the vision of the global harvest field here in North America.

Don Hanscom, Director of Multicultural Ministries
